Fort Henry: open daily from May 21 to Labour Day, 2011 The Bonnycastle Lunch & Tea Room is open daily from 10:00 to 3:30. Diners may select from a menu of traditional British lunch items including dishes like Welch Rarebit, Chicken Curry, Scotch Eggs and Shepherd's Pie all served by soldier servants. Enjoy a selection of home-made desserts or a British afternoon tea. Don't say please or thank-you to the soldier servants. The dining room is named after the Royal Engineer, Sir Richard Bonnycastle who oversaw much of the construction of Fort Henry and commanded the garrison's defence during the Rebellion of 1837. Guests who are interested in lunching in the Bonnycastle Lunch & Tea Room but who aren't interested in visiting Fort Henry may enter the fort for lunch only and pay a reduced admission charge of under $1.50 per person charged in the restaurant.
