FORT HENRY HOSPITALITY

Fort Henry occupies one of the most
prominent geographical features in Ontario and offers a
breath-taking view of Lake Ontario, the 1000 Islands,
Royal Military College and the City of Kingston. Military
defences occupied the point from the early nineteenth
century. The current limestone fortification, known as
the "Citadel of Upper Canada" was built between
1832 and 1848.
Reserved
groups can be accommodated for dinner in a variety of
comfortable and elegant locations. Soldier servants will
take you back in time as guests of the Fort Henry
Officers' Mess from the 1860s. Sumptuous food, lively
anecdotes and reasonable prices combine to create a
memorable taste of the past! Enjoy the dining traditions
of the British military during the reign of Queen
Victoria.
Besides dining options for reserved groups,
casual diners may enjoy more than
100 special themed dining occasions throughout the year.
Events range from a traditional Irish menu for St.
Patrick's Day to traditional turkey dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Candlelight dining is available from 5:15 p.m. daily during July and August with
a fixed price and a-la-carte menu.
