DINNER & A SHOW

During July and August 2010 you may enjoy the famous Fort Henry Sunset Ceremonies performed by the Fort Henry Guard and guest performers on Wednesday evenings from June 30 to August 25 as well as the Fort Henry Tattoo on Saturday, July 24.  As part of these summer evening festivities Jessup Food & Heritage offers a variety of dining opportunities.  You can enjoy period dining in the officers' mess and be served by soldier servants or enjoy great value for families with our Barbeque Meal priced at $10 per person [see BBQ details below].

Be served a three-course dinner by soldier servants in the officers’ dining rooms and then be escorted to prestige seating for the world-famous Fort Henry Sunset Ceremony or Fort Henry Tattoo. Dinner service begins no later than 5:30 p.m. Reservations and prepayment are required.  Dress is casual!  A full bar service is available with wine selections at an additional charge.  Prices include your 3 course dinner with tea or coffee, taxes, a gratuity for the dinner portion and your performance admission charge.

1st Course: choice of Garrison Garden Salad with Sweet Vinaigrette or Chef's Soup of the Day
2nd Course: choice of Prime Rib au Jus; or Chicken Fricassee; or Baked Salmon with Dill and Caper Sauce; or Stuffed Roast of Pork
Dessert: Home-made Dessert with Tea or Coffee

JUST DINNER

Guests are welcome on Wednesday evenings for just dinner in the Officers' Dining Rooms.  Reservations are welcome anytime after 5:00 p.m. and as late as 8:00 p.m. arrival.  The same fixed-price menu as above is available.  Adult price is $34 plus taxes and the price for children from 4 to 12 years is $29.  Reservations and pre-payment is required for Wednesday evening dining only.  Note that the Officers' Dining Rooms will be open from July 1 to August 30.  An a-la-carte menu will be available on nights other than performance nights.

PERFORMANCE BARBEQUE MEAL
NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

$10.00 ( per person / inclusive)

Enjoy advanced entry to the Fort Henry performance area as early as 5:30 p.m. on any performance night where you will be served a summer barbeque buffet consisting of a choice of grilled entrée, summer salad selection and a choice of non-alcoholic beverage. Select the best bleacher seats for the spectacular pomp and circumstance of the Fort Henry Sunset Ceremony performance which will begin at 7:30 p.m.  Grilled entrée choices include grilled chicken breast on a bun, a hamburger, a pork harvest sausage or a veggie burger..
Barbeque cost is $10.00 per person (inclusive of taxes) plus the cost of regular admission to Fort Henry’s Sunset Ceremony performance.  Barbeque tickets may be purchased the day of the event in the Soldiers' Canteen.  Performance admissions are purchased separately.  There is no limit to capacity for the barbeque meal.
